At this point in the holiday season, most of us have scoured the outlets and trekked through the Jacksonville malls in search of great holiday gifts. We’ve also passed the internet shopping window in which we are guaranteed to receive our orders by Christmas.

So what are we to do for those last few people on our list that are just too difficult to shop for? No need for resorting to the gift card rack at Walgreens for your last-minute gifts. Here are some ideas for people with all types of interests!

iOS Apps: Know anyone who is obsessed with the latest smartphone apps? You can gift specific apps or media by heading to the iTunes Store, selecting the app you would like to give, and hit the share button (the same one you use for Facebook or Twitter). Just click the “gift” button on the following screen and presto—your gift is sent!

You can also send e-gift cards for apps like Spotify, which allows you to gift 1, 3, 6 or 12 months of Spotify Premium electronically.

Tickets: For people who love to be about town, treat them to one of St. Augustine’s many attractions with gift certificates for tickets. For example, Epic Theater, IMAX Theater, Alligator Farm, Lightner Museum, or the St. Augustine Pirate & Treasure Museum. Don’t forget to include admission for their entire family!

Amazon Prime: For $99, Amazon Prime entitles the recipient to free two-day shipping on most anything from, unlimited streaming of movies and TV shows on Prime Instant Video (which is like Netflix), access to the Kindle owners’ Lending Library (one free book a month), access to Prime Music (one million plus songs available), unlimited free digital photo cloud storage, and more. Features work across various devices including Apple and Android.

Bed & Breakfast Stay: For that special someone, a stay at one of our local bed and breakfasts is a fun, romantic way to enjoy a quick getaway. Make it a true gift by wrapping up your printed reservation with a bottle of wine and your partner will be thrilled! Top picks include the Bayfront Westcott House, The Cedar House Inn and At Journey’s End.

Something Unique: If your recipient seems to have everything already, head over to St. Augustine’s Old City boutiques, shops and antique malls. They are full of one-of-a-kind treasures for all types of people. Look for these shops on or near St. George Street to grab up some unique gifts: Coat of Arms Shoppe, Metalartz, Bath Junkies, The Shell Shop, Tea & Spice Exchange and Earthbound Trading Company.
