World Golf Hall of Fame Celebrates 2015 Inductees with Free Event

The esteemed list of World Golf Hall of Fame inductees is about to be four names longer. On July 13, the World Golf Hall of Fame & Museum will show the 2015 Induction Ceremony LIVE from the home of golf in St Andrews, Scotland.

The ceremony will begin at 1 p.m. EDT and runs in conjunction with the 144th Open Championship that is hosted that week at the historic Old Course at St Andrews. The ceremony also airs LIVE on the Golf Channel.

Join in the fun from 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Hall of Fame. Museum admission will be free and the event includes lunch (while supplies last). Visitors can also tour the new member exhibits and play the St Andrews course (est. 1552) on the golf simulator.

The first 500 guests will receive a World Golf Hall of Fame Class of 2015 portrait poster and induction pin. You can also enter a raffle for a chance to win a Class of 2015 signed Hall of Fame pin flag.

The 2015 Hall of Fame inductees include the following:
Laura Davies – Referred to as Britain’s most accomplished female golfer of modern times, Laura has 85 professional wins worldwide, with 20 on the LPGA Tour, including four majors.
David Graham – Australian golfer David Graham has garnered more than 20 worldwide victories, including the 1979 PGA Championship at Oakland Hills and the 1981 U.S. Open at Merion.
Mark O’Meara – Mark has more than 20 worldwide victories and represented the U.S. in five Ryder Cups and two Presidents Cups. In 1998, Mark captured both the Masters and Open Championships.
A.W. Tillinghast – Considered an American pioneer in golf, A.W. architected more than 100 courses, authored numerous books about golf and stood as an original member of the PGA.
