We here in Northeast Florida have everything from professional NFL football to minor league hockey, NASCAR to minor league baseball — and if you’re in town for MLB spring training, read on below to catch a minor league game in Jax or Daytona Beach. Get in the game by rooting for our favorite local sports teams.

Jacksonville Jaguars — GO JAGS!

The Jacksonville Jaguars are a professional American football team based right here in Jacksonville, Florida. Since 1995, the Jags have competed in the National Football League (NFL) in the American Football Conference (AFC) South division. While the team usually plays at EverBank Stadium in downtown Jax, they’re heading to a temporary den in Orlando for the 2027 season, to allow for major renovations to EverBank. The $1.4 billion reno will include a new protective canopy, reducing the heat by 70+ percent, wider concourses, interactive social bars and local food options, lookout decks to enjoy the downtown skyline and river views, a nature park and increased premium seating. To buy tickets to the 2027 season at the Camping World Stadium in Orlando, to learn more, or to secure tickets for 2028, head to www.jaguars.com.

Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp — GO SHRIMP!

The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp are a AAA Minor League Baseball team, playing at VyStar Ballpark in downtown Jax, every April through September. The games are known for being high scoring, family friendly, and FUN, with fireworks taking over the sky every Friday night home game. Tickets are affordable for the whole family, with some advanced tickets starting at just $5. Grab a hot dog, a cold one, or some locally sourced shrimp, and cheer on the 2025 International League title and Triple AAA National Champions.
