There are many things that make our little corner of St. Johns County a big draw for homebuyers. Residents are drawn to our beautiful landscapes, great schools, well-planned communities, fantastic location and healthy lifestyle. In fact, St. Johns County has been declared Florida’s healthiest county for the past six years according to the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation!

No matter the draw, people are finding this is a great place to live. “Builders are developing beautiful communities with amenities that cater directly to buyers and their families,” said Sherry Davidson, President of Davidson Realty.

Here is the scoop on just some of those new communities:

Bay Bridge at Bannon Lakes (23 Bridge Oak Lane, northeast corner of I-95 & International Golf Pkwy): A new 55+ active adult community called Bay Bridge at Bannon Lakes is underway, offering two distinct home styles, single-family homes and villas. The community is enveloped by beautiful preserved wetlands and sparkling lakes.

A model home is now available for viewing and another model is currently under construction. Also, check out the grand opening on Saturday, April 22.

The cozy neighborhood has just 36 home sites and many lie adjacent to the Slammer & Squire’s sixth fairway and green, water or nature preserve.

Five inventory homes and a model home, all by DreamFinders, will be complete by summer.

Trailmark (805 Trailmark Drive, off Pacetti Road 2.5 miles south of FL-16): There has been a lot of buzz about this master-planned community, and with good reason. Trailmark is well underway with many homes already built and a fully constructed amenities complex.

In March, David Weekley Homes and Providence Homes were added to the community’s builder list (joining DR Horton and Landon Homes). David Weekley and Providence are currently breaking ground on new model homes, which are planned to open this summer.

In total, Gran Lake will have 196 homes when complete and construction is already well underway. Don’t miss the luxurious amenity center, which is already completed!
