Every spring for the past 37 years, historic St. Augustine has stood astheplace for great seafood, live music, and good times. This year, the tradition continues with the 38th St. Augustine Lions Seafood Festival! It all goes down this weekend, March 22 to 24, at Francis Field.

Presented by Lions Club International, the festival is a staple for locals and tourists seeking games and rides, shopping, music and, of course, delicious local seafood. Dozens of seafood vendors will be present offering fish, crab, shrimp, mussels, calamari, and more, prepared in a wide range of cooking styles. For land lovers, vendors will also be selling Italian, Asian, and fair-style foods.

An Arts & Crafts Village will include more than 100 vendors selling handcrafted items such as housewares, pottery, artwork, and accessories.

A Kidz Zone will feature a Clown Adventure, performance by Nutter Interactive Percussion, as well as a meet-and-greet with Minions and the Little Mermaid.

Musical acts include Jax English Salsa Band, Those Guys Jazz Party of Orlando, Sunset East Band, Mandalla Music, Kate Keys Band, Billy Buchanan Rock N Soul Revue, Davis & The Loose Cannons, and more. A music schedule can be found at www.visitstaugustine.com/event/st-augustine-lions-seafood-festival.

Francis Field is located at 25 W. Castillo Drive (next to the Visitor’s Center and the parking garage in downtown St. Augustine). No pets or coolers allowed on festival grounds.

Children 15 and younger are admitted free with a paying adult (only $5 for adults at the gate).  Active military get in free as well.

Festival hours are Friday from 3 to 9 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Please note, the Arts & Crafts Village closes at sundown each day.
