First Coast Offers New Year’s Events For all Tastes

As New Year’s Eve approaches, we are all thinking about how we will cap off the holiday season, whether partying the night away or watching fireworks with our family. No matter how you like to ring in the New Year, there is the perfect celebration for you somewhere on the First Coast! Here are the best goings-on around the area for each celebration style.

Beach Party: 2nd Annual Carve Craft Vodka New Year’s Eve Party (Seachasers, Jacksonville Beach) – Starts at 9:30 p.m. Jax Beach’s biggest party will be hosted by Carve Craft Vodka and includes an all-inclusive Premium Bar Package from 9:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. Musical entertainment by DJ Billy Parry, the official DJ of the Jacksonville Jaguars!

Club Scene: 2nd Annual New Year’s Eve River Bash (Deep Blue at the Jacksonville Landing, downtown) – Starts at 9 p.m. Party like a boss at the First Coast’s biggest New Year’s celebration, which includes music, drinks, dancing, party favors and the perfect view of downtown Jax’s midnight fireworks!

Dine & Celebrate: Ice Plant New Year’ Eve Prix Fixe (Ice Plant Bar, St. Augustine) – First seating at 5 p.m., second seating at 7 p.m. and final seating at 10 p.m. Tickets include a three-course dinner; entrees include a choice between braised beef short rib, pan-seared local fish, or house-made tagliatelle with mushrooms and leeks. Final seating guests will be treated to a 2,000-balloon drop at midnight!

Themed Dance Party: Rio Carnival New Years Eve (BlackFinn Ameripub, Markets at Town Center) – Starts at 9 p.m. Transport to Rio de Janeiro and dance the night away with a full party band in the dining room featuring Evan Michael and the Well Wishers, and a DJ in the pub and patio!

Family Night Out: St. Augustine Beach Blast Off (St. A Beach Pier) – 4-10 p.m. If you have kids or you’re just looking for some casual fun with friends, head to the event voted as the #1 Family New Year’s Eve event in Florida! The free event includes live music, food vendors, a mechanical bull, kids zone, bounce houses and more. A fireworks display goes off with a bang at 8:30!
