Looking for a great way to celebrate Father’s Day 2017? There are lots of Northeast Florida venues like World Golf Hall of Fame offering free and discounted entry this Father’s Day. Or you can head up to the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville on Sunday, June 18 to “have a ball” at the Jumbo Shrimp Father’s Day Cookout.

Gather the family and take Dad to the park for an all-you-can-eat picnic and some pre-game catch on the field before the 3:05 p.m. Baptist Health Sunday Family FUNday game between the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and the Pensacola Blue Wahoos.

Visit this special JaxShrimp.com link (bit.ly/2sHEpQE) and enter password “shrimpdeck” to purchase Father’s Day Cookout packages. They include reserved seats and access to the buffet of hamburgers and hot dogs located on the Shrimp Deck (near 3rd base) from 2 to 3:30 p.m. With the purchase, each Dad will receive a free Jumbo Shrimp baseball cap.

But wait, that’s not all! The celebration also includes a Father’s Day Grill Giveaway presented by WJXT News4Jax, and a performance by Inflatamaniacs inflatable entertainers. Boaters are also invited to dock their boats at Metropolitan Park Marina and purchase a discounted reserved seat ticket at bit.ly/2sHEpQE (enter password “boatjax”).

Packages are $20 per person and space is limited, so hurry! Children 3 and under who don’t need a seat do not need a ticket for entry.

For the kids, enjoy free face painting, balloon animals and craft activities, presented by the Wolfson Children’s Hospital Kids Zone. After the game, kids 12 and under are invited to run the bases.
