New Year’s Eve is only two days away and if you’re like me you still haven’t decided which event to commit to! With so much going on in St. Augustine, it’s hard to choose how to ring in the New Year. Whether you’re looking for a casual night out, a family-friendly option or a black-tie affair, St. Augustine has it all!

Here’s what’s going on in St. Augustine:

Murray Bro’s CaddyShack Restaurant: The Murray Bro’s are throwing down for New Year’s Eve with live music by Mr. Natural starting at 8 pm! I would recommend grabbing dinner somewhere in downtown St. Augustine to experience the gorgeous Night of Lights before heading back home to ring in the New Year!

Davidson Realty’s Mirtha Barzaga To Host Food & Clothing Drive in Heritage Landing

Davidson Realty agent Mirtha Barzaga will be sponsoring a food and supplies drive this Saturday, December 13 between 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. at the Heritage Landing Amenity Center. All are invited to donate to the drive, which will benefit the Emergency Services & Homeless Coalition of St. Johns County. The drive is co-sponsored by Amenity Services Group, Inc.

Palencia Elementary’s First Annual MOJO BBQ Night is Thursday, December 11th!

Davidson Cares is very excited to be hosting Palencia Elementary’s First Annual MOJO BBQ Night on Thursday, December 11th between 4 and 6 pm! This is a very busy time of year with the holidays upon us, so Davidson Cares has teamed up with MOJO Old City BBQ to provide your family with a night off from cooking while supporting Palencia Elementary at the same time!

Here’s how it works:

1. Simply choose your meal preference:
• Single turkey or pork platter (feeds one adult or two children) – Served with Texas toast, macaroni-n-cheese and green beans. Single platters are $10 (PES receives $5)
• Family platter (feeds family of four) – Served with turkey, pork, Texas toast, macaroni-n-cheese and green beans. Family platters are $30 (PES receives $15)

Over $5,000 Raised for the St Johns County Schools at Davidson Cares’ Novemberfest Fundraiser!

Thank you so much to all of our World Golf Village neighbors, parents and friends for helping to raise over $5,000 for our schools at this year’s Davidson Cares’ Novemberfest Fundraiser! This year’s event was better than ever with live music by Terribly Fantastic, an incredible taco bar, delicious craft beers, delectable wines, and over 45 raffle/silent auction items. All money raised will be donated to Mill Creek Elementary, Wards Creek Elementary, Palencia Elementary, Pacetti Bay Middle School and Nease High School.

The 3rd Annual Davidson Cares Novemberfest is Coming to World Golf Village Nov. 7!

Davidson Realty is thrilled announce that Novemberfest, the annual fundraiser to benefit local schools through non-profit foundation Davidson Cares, is coming home to the Davidson offices on Friday, Nov. 7! Davidson Realty’s office building is located at 100 East Town Place in World Golf Village.

This 3rd annual celebration will truly be an event to remember. Patrons will enjoy refreshing craft beers from Bold City Brewery, delectable wines by Blackstone Grille, and Moe’s Southwestern Grill’s fantastic taco bar. Not to mention the live music and silent auction/raffle items! Tickets are $20 ($15 goes straight to the schools) and all proceeds from the raffle and silent auction items go directly to the schools!

Calling all entrepreneurs: The St. Johns Business EXPO is coming on Oct. 10

Any successful entrepreneur will attest to the importance of meeting like-minded people for support, ideas and networking, and the perfect place to find that is this year’s St. Johns Business EXPO! Held at the beautiful Renaissance Convention Center in World Golf Village, the event runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 10.

This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to launch their own business or look for ways to grow their existing business. The event is free to the public and will feature advice from seasoned experts, as well as clinics, giveaways (including a cruise!), lots of exhibitor booths and a mixer to network with other entrepreneurs.

Among the event’s 45 exhibitors, visitors can peruse booths by World Golf Village’s own Davidson Realty as well as Flagler Hospital, Augustine.com, ALPHA Business & Property Brokers, Marlin Consulting, Edible Arrangements and many more.

Donating to our local public schools is as easy as grabbing lunch to-go, dropping off a few school supplies or even just doing a little online shopping!
