Davidson Realty is thrilled to announce its upcoming title sponsorship of the 19th Annual St. Augustine Youth Services Charity Invitational Golf Classic on Monday, September 22, at Marsh Creek Country Club. Registration begins at 8 a.m., tee-off is at 9 a.m. and an awards luncheon sponsored by the St. Augustine Lions Club will follow the event.
Davidson joins fellow title sponsor Ocean Grove RV Super Center to support the non-profit St. Augustine Youth Services (SAYS) in its tireless efforts to provide a safe, stable home for young victims of abuse and severe neglect. The caring professionals of SAYS are specially trained to deal with problems unique to children from abusive homes, and its Hutson Family Campus opened in April 2013 to provide a safe, homelike environment for the children to heal, learn and grow both physically and emotionally, and go on to lead positive, healthy lives. All proceeds from the tournament will go to SAYS.

Davidson Cares, the corporate giving program of Davidson Realty, Inc., is thrilled to welcome its newest Title Sponsors for the 2014-2015 school year! This year’s title sponsors include MOJO Old City BBQ, Bank of England, Heekin Law and the Jacksonville branch of Charles Schwab. Title sponsors are those at the $2,000 giving level and are featured prominently in Davidson Cares’ marketing and advertising collateral and media outreach.

During the 2013-2014 school year Davidson Cares raised more than $20,000 for schools to help purchase books and updated technology as well as fund important programs.

As you have probably noticed, there is a lot of residential and commercial construction going on in World Golf Village and the surrounding areas. In the second quarter 2014 Metro Study report, World Golf Village was ranked in the top ten communities for annual construction starts with 86 homes under construction. Two of World Golf Village’s premier communities, The Cascades and Heritage Landing, are building out their remaining few homesites and The Residences’ new condominium phase, La Fontana at the Residences, will begin construction of a new building of 13 condominium homes in September. There are 23 homes currently under construction in the King & Bear from Laterra Links’ luxury coach homes to magnificent custom homes. As you can see, there is a lot going on!

Mill Creek Elementary School’s first annual BBQ Night went off without a hitch last Tuesday, May 27, bringing in $2,040 — $1,020 of which goes directly to the school for books and technology! Catered by MOJO Old City BBQ, the event sold 100 meals including 55 family meals, 11 individual turkey meals and 34 individual pork meals.
Davidson Realty, which operates Davidson Cares, a non-profit organization that gives grants to local schools like Mill Creek, also had representatives on hand to help. Volunteers handed out pre-ordered meals to Mill Creek parents as they waited in the after-school car line.
